What to Bring to a Women's Circle

If you are attending a women's circle for the first time, you may wonder what to bring or how to prepare. The truth is, you don't need to bring anything special. You only need to bring yourself, as you are.

That said, here are a few things that can support your experience:

Comfortable clothing. Choose something you can sit comfortably in on the floor. Layers are always a good idea, as body temperature can shift during meditation and breathwork. Think soft, natural fabrics that let you feel at ease.

A journal and pen. Many of our gatherings include reflective writing. Having your own journal allows you to capture any insights, intentions, or feelings that arise during the circle.

An open heart and mind. You may not know what to expect, and that's completely fine. The most important thing is your willingness to be present. There is no right or wrong way to show up.

Water and a small snack. Some gatherings can last two hours or more. Having water nearby helps you stay grounded, and a light snack for afterward can help you transition gently back into your day.

A sacred object (optional). Some women like to bring a small meaningful object — a stone, a piece of jewelry, a photograph — to place on the shared altar. This is entirely optional but can be a beautiful way to feel connected to your intention.

Leave behind: your phone (or silence it), your to-do list (it will be there when you return), and any expectation of what the experience 'should' be. The most powerful thing you can do is arrive without an agenda and let the circle hold you.
